 If you are a conservative American who is concerned with our nation's policies regarding pollution, energy, and the environment then you are an "Envirocon". One need not be an environmental extremist to want clean air, clean water, energy alternatives, and protection for our nation's natural treasures. Furthermore, conservative Americans are tired of seeing our energy needs, as well as our environmental troubles, used as political footballs by the extreme left. Rather than demonizing mankind with the hopeless and accusatory rhetoric that has become a staple of the liberal establishment in our country, we would like to see a plan to address the very real concerns that all Americans share regarding our nation, our planet, and our future. As conservatives, we want and demand responsible leadership on these issues by committed individuals who lead by example and who seek solutions rather than opportunities to blame others for the current environmental situation. Perhaps then we can get to the bottom of our planet's needs in a responsible and cooperative manner through informed, but apolitical strategies.
